Immigration process at Bandar Bintan Telani Ferry Terminal (BBT)
After the ferry docks, make sure you follow the flow of arrival by following the Baggage Claim Signage until arriving at the Immigration Checkpoint area to conduct the immigration process. The arrival immigration process is usually done quickly by immigration officers because this ferry terminal is indeed specialized for tourists. All matters of checking documents and copying passports are done quickly and easily.
Indonesian citizens can prepare their Passport and queue at the special counter line for Indonesian citizens.
For foreign nationals :
1. Prepare Passport and other immigration documents
2. Prepare Visa if needed (non ASEAN nationals)
3. Prepare Vaccine Certificate if foreigners visit endemic affected areas less than 6 days from the time of arrival in Indonesia.
4. Queue in the special line for foreign nationals.
5. Emerald class / VIP lounge available at Bandar Bintan Telani Ferry Terminal (BBT) Passengers traveling with Emerald Class can skip the immigration queue when arriving in Bintan, and let the selected staff to take care of all the process, but you need to pay extra charge but you get more services such as: VIP room with air conditioning, priority baggage handling on arrival, priority boarding and disembarkation, hot & cold drinks, and friendly service staff.
After the immigration process, proceed to the baggage conveyor area for baggage collection and continue with the customs process The process is complete, travel can be made to the international arrival exit.
